                Minutes of 45th Annual General Meeting, Monday Sept 27, 2004

                     Held at Wireless Hill Meeting Room, Applecross

The meeting opened at 2005.

Visitors: Anthony Benbow VK6AXB, Robyn Edwards VK6XRE.

MINUTES: The minutes of the 2003 AGM had been read at the October 2003 General 
Meeting. 

REPORTS:

Treasurer: 

Chris 6KCH tabled a copy of the Balance Sheet as attached and Auditor's report.
Attention was drawn to the need to watch operational expenses in particular 
power costs for beacons. 

President:

Alan 6ZWZ delivered a verbal report. He thanked all office bearers and workers 
for efforts during the year. The Mt Barker project and ongoing upgrade and 
expansion of the SHF beacons at Wireless Hill were significant activities this 
year. 

ELECTION OF OFFICERS:

The following were elected unopposed:-

PRESIDENT: Alan VK6ZWZ (Don 6HK/Tom 6ZAF).
TREASURER: Chris 6KCH (Don 6HK/Mike 6KRO).
SECRETARY: Terry 6ZLT (In absentia)(Don 6HK/Chris 6KCH).
MUSEUM REPRESENTATION: Tom 6ZAF (Don 6HK/Mike 6KRO).

The positions of Vice President and Bulletin Editor were declared vacant.

No nominations were received for the remaining Office Bearers and the President 
ruled that existing occupants of positions would continue subject to their 
agreement.

Incumbents are:

COUNCIL: Terry VK6TRG, Luigi VK6YEH and Cec VK6AO 
BEACON COMMITTEE Chairman: Wal 6KZ.
SITE REPRESENTATIVES: Tom VK6ZAF, Phil VK6AD and Terry VK6ZLT.
LIBRARIAN: Al VK6ZAY.
TRUSTEES: Wal 6KZ and Don 6HK.

The Committee will continue to consider the matter of the appointment of a 
Patron, should a suitable candidate emerge.

The meeting closed at 2020, to be followed by the Monthly General Meeting.
